TherapeuticModalities.com (“tm.com”) is an independent information resource for instructors, students, and clinicians. Every effort is taken to keep the information presented on this site as accurate as possible. However, tm.com shall not be held liable for factual or typographical errors found on this site or related links.
Privacy statement TM.com respects your right to privacy and has taken steps to protect that right. There are only two reasons why we collect your personal identity: (1) To access the examination question database and (2) If you choose to submit information for use on tm.com. This privacy policy discloses the types of information we gather, how we use it, and how to correct or change it.
1. What personally identifiable information does TM.com collect? We do not actively collect personal information of users who access the resources available on tm.com. Personal information is collected when:
A. You desire access to the examination question database. This is done to assure that only course instructors are able to download these questions. Students and other individuals can access the online tutorials without exposing any personal information.
B. You submit material to tm.com. We encourage submissions to this site. However, before posting this material we must use due diligence to assure that the information submitted is original and the developer of that information intends for its use in a public forum. Information submitted to – and accepted by – tm.com will be fully credited to the contributor(s).
2. What anonymous information does TM.com collect? Your internet browser may install “cookies” that stores small amounts of data on your computer when you visit tm.com. These cookies do not reveal the personal information about who is visiting the site. In addition, you may elect not to allow cookies to be collected by selecting certain options on your browser.
Our web hosting company, IPowerWEb (www.ipowerweb.com) also receives records information from its servers and from your browser, including your IP address, the time, and pages you visited. This information is used to:
- Record the number of visits to tm.com
- Identify the frequency of visits to each page on tm.com
- Develop statistical information regarding site usage (eg, time of day, length of visit)

3. How does TM.com use the information? We hate spam as much as you do. The use of your personal information is detailed in item 1. TM.com does NOT and will not share personal information – including email addresses – to any third-party. Direct mailings from tm.com will be via an opt-in method and can be cancelled at any time.
4. Notification in changes in the privacy policy Alerts to changes in the privacy policy will be noted on the tm.com homepage. The user will then be directed to this site. Changes will be boldfaced and dated.
5. Indemnification TM.com is not responsible for the privacy policies of web sites linked to from this site.
